Things to do
The property is located in Kuala Lumpur city, nearby PWTC (Putra World Trade Centre). Almost anywhere you might want to visit in Kuala Lumpur is within a 20 minute train or taxi ride.
The condominium itself was built in 1997 and has a lot of shared facilities including pool, gym and security.
Batu Caves

These ancient caves consist of 3 large caves and a few smaller ones. The biggest is 100 metres high. They are a popular attraction throughout the year and are the location for the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam. More than 1.5 million people travel to the caves on pilgrimage as a religious undertaking to Lord Muruga, to whom there is a 42 metre golden statue.
You can reach the caves via taxi or by bus from Jalan Ipoh (close to the apartment).
Chinatown

This is a must-visit area in KL. Chinatown is famous for its bustling Petaling Street market.
The market runs every day and night selling bags, shoes, clothes, watches, sunglasses, exotic fruits, souvenirs and more. It's a fun place to visit but be careful of inflated prices - you must haggle!
There are hawker food stalls all around the Chinatown area. Try out the different delicacies they sell.
Eye on Malaysia

The Eye on Malaysia is a 60 metre tall ferris wheel, offering good views across Kuala Lumpur.
Rides take about 12 minutes, though at quiet times you may get to make a number of rotations. The view at night time is particularly good.
Fish Spa

In the Pavillion shopping centre at Bukit Bintang, you can find the "fish spa". Thousands of little fish from Turkey nibble at your feet, cleaning the skin. It is ticklish to start with though most people get used to it! A fun way to spend 30 minutes.
Kuala Lumpur Bird Park

The bird park has over 5000 birds from over 50 species of bird, 90% of which are indigenous to Malaysia. Take a taxi to the bird park or a KTM Kommuter train to Kuala Lumpur Railway Station (the old station which is also worth visiting as an old building).
Kuala Lumpur International Airport

Known as KLIA, Kuala Lumpur International Airport is an award-winning modern airport. It is about 50 kilometres south of Kuala Lumpur.
The KLIA transit train goes directly from KLIA to Sentral station (the main train station in Kuala Lumpur). The apartment is a 10 minute taxi journey from Sentral station.
Little India

Little India is, you guessed it, a market area with lots of Indian shops and restaurants.
Merdeka Square

Merdeka Square is a large lawned area with a giant flagpole flying the Malaysian flag. Around Merdaka Square are historic buildings including the Royal Selangor Club (1890), the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, the National History Museum and the Memorial Library (1909), St. Mary's Anglican cathedral and the modern Dayabumi Complex.
Independence day is celebrated here, marking the day that Malaysia became independent from Britain on August 31, 1957.
National Museum

The National Museum is worth visiting to learn about the history and culture of Malaysia. Take a taxi from the apartment.
Petronas Twin Towers

The spectacular twin towers are the world's second tallest buildings.
Also known as KLCC, the twin towers are 456 metes in height. There is viewing platform called the Sky Bridge that connects the towers about one third of the way up. You can get free tour tickets to go to the sky bridge via the incredibly fast elevator. From the bridge you can stare out across Kuala Lumpur city centre.
At the base of the twin towers is a 6 storey shopping complex with almost every designer store you could wish for.
Putra World Trade Centre

PWTC is just 100 metres from the apartment. This exhibition centre hosts many events throughout the year such as travel, technology, photography, leisure, machinery, culture, furniture, interior design and beauty exhibitions.

Sepang Race Track
Stadium, 60km from apartment
Formula One racing takes place each year at the Sepang Race Track. The Malaysian Grand Prix is an unmissable event if you are here at this time of year (normally April).
There are many other motor sport events around the year including the Super GT Championship, the Motorcycle Grand Prix, A1GP, Malaysian Super Series, Sepang Drag Battle and Motorcross.
There is also an outdoor go-kart track at Sepang which makes for great fun speeding around at 80kmh just 2 inches above the ground.
The Golden Triangle

The area called the Golden Triangle (encompassing Bukit Bintang) is a popular tourist spot. There are hundreds of restaurants including excellent seafood restaurants with dining tables sprawling out onto the pavement and street.
It's a great area to wander around at night time. Foot massage (reflexology) is a speciality and masseurs will vie for your custom. Artists will offer to sketch your portrait.
Zouk
Night club, 2.0km from apartment
Zouk is the most happening nightclub in KL. It has 3 different dance floors playing the latest dance and R&B tunes from around the world. To fit in, you'll need to dress to impress - this is where the celebrities go to party.
